Submissions for the 2026 Young Artists’ Summer Show are now open!
It’s free to enter, and chosen works will be exhibited online and onsite at the RA this summer. To enter you need to be aged 4-18 and studying in the UK. All artworks will be judged by a panel of passionate artists and art professionals.
How to enter the Young Artists' Summer Show?
To enter the Young Artists' Summer Show, follow these steps¹ ²:
Registration:
- Teachers register their school by creating an account or logging in on the Royal Academy's website.
- Parents or guardians can also register if their child is not in a school or is home-schooled.
Submission:
- Artwork can be submitted online by a teacher, parent, or guardian for students aged 4-12.
- Students aged 13-18 can submit artwork themselves.
- Each student can submit one artwork in any material, with no specific theme required.
- You'll need to provide an image of the artwork, its title, size, and a brief text about the artwork and why you made it.
Deadline: Make sure to submit by 5 pm on March 4, 2026.
- Judging and Exhibition: A panel of judges will select artworks for the online exhibition and display at the Royal Academy of Arts.
